La Chapelle Nouvelle is a site-specific, ongoing installation examining the relationship between spirituality and industry. Set in a 19th century art nouveau church in rural France, the project combines a variety of cultural and historical influences to create a new religion for the 21st century. This new mythology is shaped by what we hold sacred; through the power we invest in our beliefs, and the rituals we choose to engage in. The goal of La Chapelle Nouvelle is to create a new kind of space in which to worship, and a new perspective on both the singular and the universal values of our faith.
